Our story

Atlanta natives Dorian and Morgan have been friends for over a decade. In 2018 they reconnected as D.C. residents, and what started as girl talk on life’s highs and lows, evolved into The Rooted Life - a truth-filled platform that empowers women to flourish in their relationships with God, themselves, and others.

“Rooted” is a concept that stems from the biblical analogy that followers of Christ are like trees. Similar to trees, most of the work happens from the inside out, as God strengthens and deepens our roots below the surface before allowing us to produce fruit that others can see. The brand is centered around their approach to faith and wellbeing shared through authentic conversations on their podcast and with their online community.

Dorian & Morgan believe that women who engage with The Rooted Life will be surprised at how much deeper they can go in their relationships with God, themselves, and the people they love.

The Rooted Life extends the good news to as many women as possible, by shining light on Ephesians 3:17, “Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.”
